2012 SUMMER SHARES AVAILABLE NOW!!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) offers you the chance to support a local farm directly by purchasing a share of their season's crops in advance in the season. In return, you receive a box of produce each week of the growing season fresh from the fields - whatever is ready for harvest that week - and the opportunity to get to know the folks that are growing your food.
Featherstone Farm is a Certified Organic farm that has been offering CSA shares in the summer season for 15 seasons to Winona, Rochester, and the Twin Cities. We also offer on-farm pickup for residents of Rushford, MN and the surrounding area.

We offer the following CSA options each year:
2011 Grande Summer Share Week 11 Summer Season Grande Share - $625 before December 15; $635 after December 15.
Our Grande Shares offer our freshest produce for 20 weeks* in the 2012 season. We usually recommend a Grande box for a family of 4 or for 2 small families to share. Quantities of each item in the box are usually about what you would find in the grocery store. Items in the this box include staples like potatoes, onions, salad greens, and tomatoes as well as a few more unusual crops like kohlrabi, edemame, and chard.
2011 Chica Summer Share Week 11Summer Season Chica Share - $480 before December 15; $490 after December 15.
Our Chica Shares offer our freshest produce for 20 weeks* in the 2012 season. We usually recommend a Chica box for a family of 2 or 3. Items in the Chica box are usually the same as in the Grande, but in smaller quantities (usually a little over half of what is in the Grande box) and include staples like potatoes, onions, salad greens, and tomatoes as well as a few more unusual crops like kohlrabi, edemame, and chard. While some small households have had success sharing Chica boxes, it can be difficult because of the portion sizes, so we do not recommend sharing.
2011 Solo Box Sample Week 11Solo Summer Share – New! - $290 before December 15; $300 after December 15.
Our Solo box is new for the 2012 season and will also provide 20 weeks of produce. We've created it to offer a share to both single person households and for folks who like to support a CSA, but also want to go to the farmers markets. Boxes will contain half the items that are in our Chica boxes, but in the same quantities. We will focus on packing the Solo boxes with a majority of staple crops like potatoes, onions, salad greens, and tomatoes and less of the more unusual crops. We do not recommend sharing a Solo box.
2010 Winter Share Box Week 2Winter Season Share ($320): SOLD OUT. 8 deliveries of fresh and storage crops starting the first week of November through the third week of February. Sign up and pay in full by Friday, July 29 and we'll add an extra box delivered in the Spring (March or April, depending on weather).
* Delivery of all shares will begin June 5-8 and will go through October 23 – 26, with one week off the week of July 24 – 27.
