Our boxes are priced according to the cost of the growing crops, labor for planting and harvesting crops and for packing and distributing boxes.  We believe strongly that it is important to pay each worker a living wage.

A Grande share breaks down to be about $30 per week on average.  While this might seem high at the beginning of the season, we believe it's a very reasonable price for the amount and quality of produce we pack for the majority of the season.

Chica shares offer about half the produce, but for more than half the cost.  This is because the labor of harvesting and packing the product is more than half that of the Grande boxes.  The cost per week of the Chica shares averages out to be just over $20 per week.

For a better idea of the value of our boxes, check out our CSA Photos page to see the variety and quantities per week.
