Produce that is sold or marketed as Organic must be approved by a certifying agent that is licensed through the US Department of Agriculture.  The USDA has specific standards about the types of pesticides and fertilizers used on crops ensuring that they are not harmful to the environment.  Our certifying agent is Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA).
