Savory Popcorn Seasonings
With each of these, you should start with about 1/3 cup kernels and pop them according to your preference (around the farm, our favorite is the air popper). Once it's popped, a good base is 1/4 - 1/3 cup of oil (melted butter is great - olive oil also works nicely!) on the popped kernels.
Mediterranean - Sprinkle the popcorn with salt, freshly ground pepper, and dried oregano.
Garlic and parmesan - for this one, press a couple garlic cloves into the melted butter on the stove and simmer it for a few minutes to let the flavors blend before pouring it over the popcorn. Top it off with a little salt and some grated parmesan.
Southwestern Style - Chili powder and a little bit of cumin would be a fun addition combo - salt optional.
Ranch Style - If you have a ranch seasoning packet, that would work, but it's pretty easy to get a similar flavor from some spices that are probably all in your cabinet already. All it will take is a little onion powder, garlic powder, dill weed, salt, and pepper.
