Harvest for the Hungry

New Partnership with the Emergency Food Shelf Network
We're excited to be introducing our new partnership with the Emergency Food Shelf Network's Harvest for the Hungry program. With donations from CSA shareholders around the region, Harvest for the Hungry is able to purchase local and organically grown produce (the same that you eat each week during the season) from Featherstone and other local farms. This food is then distributed free of charge to families facing hunger in the Twin Cities Metro area.

Please join us in extending the availability of fresh local produce to families around the Twin Cities with the help of the Emergency Food Shelf Network! For more information or to make a donation, visit their site now.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)Program

Community Supported Agriculture is a model for co-operation between farmers and consumers, in which households "subscribe" to a season's worth of fresh produce with a single investment in the spring.  In addition to receiving a wide array of the freshest fruits and vegetables, the Featherstone CSA members are invited to participate in a unique program of farm visits, educational, inspirational and community building activities.  To learn more about program details, box sizes and the 30+ dropsite options, please click here.

The Crops

We grow over 50 varieties of produce for CSA each year.  For a list of all of our fruits and vegetables, check out our The Crops page.
