Featherstone Farm's Fall Festival: Celebrating 30 Years of Leadership and Organic Farming
Join us in celebrating three decades of Jack’s exceptional leadership at Featherstone Farm, marking the 30th anniversary of our organic fruit and vegetable farm. The Featherstone Fall Festival will be an all-day celebration, taking place from 2 PM to 10 PM, packed with family-friendly activities, live music, delicious food, and more!
Event Highlights and Schedule:
Children's Activities: Led by Featherstone CSA member Lezlea Dahlke and her son Cal, the festival will offer engaging activities to keep the little ones entertained from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Live Music: Enjoy performances by local bands Fish on Hooks, Ironstill, and Sugar Lads. Bring your own chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the sounds.
Delicious Food: Food will be served by Latitude 44 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, featuring farm-fresh meals that highlight the best of the season.
Hay Rides: Experience the beauty of Featherstone Farm with hayrides at 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:30 PM.
Self-Guided Tours & Featherstone Farm Timeline: Dive into Featherstone’s rich history and explore the farm at your own pace with self-guided tours and a visual timeline available all day. 1) Transplant production 2) Farming production tools 3) Cool room/CSA line 4) Winter storage 5) Wash station 6) High tunnels

Special Perks for CSA Members:
Entrance Fee Waived: All CSA members can enjoy the festival with no entrance fee.
Meal Tickets:
Solo Share Members will receive 2 free meal tickets.
Sustainer Share Members will receive 3 free meal tickets.
Important Reminders:
Rain or Shine: The festival will take place rain or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately.
No Pets: For everyone's safety and comfort, no animals are allowed at the festival.
Safety First: Please stay off all farm equipment and respect areas that are flagged off.
Things to bring and to not bring: Refillable water bottle to keep hydrated, chairs/blanket for picnic and music area, cash or a credit card, farm safe shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, if you’d like to bring a cooler with your own picnic and beverages please do, leave all animals at home.
Wi-Fi: We will not be sharing. We have a landline for your calling needs.

Parking:
There are FOUR zones to be aware of. As soon as you park, please go to the Welcome Table.
Zone A: This parking area is the NORTH side of City Park Road. This road is the gravel road that is adjacent to the the main grounds of Featherstone farm. Please follow the signs that will be visible when coming from all directions. Zone A is the closet to the farm. (Yellow line made of dashes)
Zone B: This parking area is south/west of Featherstone Farm’s main grounds. This parking lot belongs to MiEnergy and they have graciously allowed us to use their space. When parking here please follow the signs that will guide you to the walkway to the Featherstone Farm main grounds.
Zone C: This parking area is north/west of Featherstone Farm’s main grounds. This parking lot belongs to Croell Cement Plant and they have graciously allowed us to use their space. When parking here please follow the signs that will guide you to City Park Road which will bring you to the main grounds.
Drop-off Zone: This area is located at the entrance of Featherstone Farm’s main grounds. It is off of City Park Road. This unloading area is to drop off individuals only. This is not a parking space.
Limited movement Zone: This area is located on the SOUTH side of City Park Road. This road is the gravel road that is adjacent to the main grounds of Featherstone Farm. Please be careful unloading as the grass is uneven to the south side of the road. (Red line made of dashes)
*Please pick up all your trash within these parking areas. Be cognizant of other vehicles and passersby. Please do not move any equipment or signs located in or around the parking zones. Please do not climb on equipment found in or around the parking zones. Look for signs that will guide you to open parking zones.
