That was Quite the Party!
It feels good to be 30!
We so appreciate you braving the rain, the mud, the flies, and the drive to celebrate with us.
After a mid-afternoon shower that forced us under the tents and into the farm’s buildings, we were able to enjoy a gorgeous late afternoon and evening filled with vibrant music, delicious food (thank you Lat 44!), and some fantastic mud stomping.
When not exploring mud puddles, kids made bug masks, slurped apple cider (thank you Hoch Orchard!), and used vegetable stamps to make their artistic masterpieces.
Two of our three hayrides were able to make the rounds and Abby saved the first tour from being stuck in the mud forever.
There were so many hugs. It was a joy to have past farm crew members back to visit and celebrate thirty years of building this community centered on organic, locally-grown produce.
We learned more about what you love about our farm. It’s a joy to share valued partnerships with you. We appreciate learning what you’d like to see more (or less) of. Your feedback is so important. We can’t do this without you!
Everyone had the chance to see behind-the-scenes where we pack your boxes, store fall crops, dry the onions, and squeeze in late season tomatoes. We were so happy to share our history and our vision for the future with you. Thank you for following the self-guided tours and learning about our wins and losses over the past 30 years.
We look forward to the next time you all come to our beautiful corner of southeastern Minnesota. Our little slice of the Driftless region is something that we love to share.
