Managing Your Subscription’s Auto-Renew Setting

At Featherstone Farm, we use an auto-renew feature to make CSA membership renewal simple and convenient for our members while supporting our farm’s planning process. Auto-renewal helps secure your spot before shares sell out and ensures we can purchase seeds and supplies early in the season.

Here’s what to know:

  • Automatic Enrollment: If you had a CSA share last season, you will be automatically re-enrolled for the same share size and pickup location for the upcoming season.

  • Billing & Payment Plan: Your selected payment plan from last season (full payment or installment plan) will carry over unless you update it.

  • Notification & Deadlines: We will send email reminders before the auto-renew date. Members have until the stated opt-out deadline to make changes or cancel their renewal.

Opt Out or Manage Your Auto-Renewal

If you want to keep your share, no action is needed—your membership will automatically renew.

If you prefer to opt out or make changes, follow these steps:

  1. Opting Out: Click the “Opt-Out” button in your renewal email to cancel before the deadline. You will be directed to log into your account to complete the cancellation.

  2. Manually Renewing or Changing Your Share: If you’d like to adjust your share size, pickup location, or payment plan, log into your account and visit the “Storefront” tab to make updates before signing up manually.

  3. Checking Your Payment Information: Ensure your credit card or e-check details are up to date. Expired or missing payment information will prevent auto-renewal from processing.

Payment Options & Fees

  • Credit Card Payments: A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

  • E-Check Option: To avoid credit card fees, members can switch to e-check payments by updating their payment details in their account.

  • No problem! Simply opt out before the deadline by clicking the “Opt-Out” button in your renewal email.

  • Yes! However, the auto-renew system does not allow changes. If you’d like to modify your share, you’ll need to log into your account, visit the “Storefront” tab, and sign up manually.

  • If your payment method is expired or declined, your auto-renewal will not process. Please ensure your credit card or e-check details are current to secure your share.
